South Point

South Point is a boutique and restaurant development set in the center of Antigua's yachting world at Falmouth and English Harbour. The development will draw on a blend of design, location, food and attitude to create the ultimate guest experience. The Property, 1.75 acre hillside, water-front property with a spectacular view of teh harbour at Falmouth will consist of a twenty room condo hotel with restaurant, lounge, bar and all supporting infrastructure.

The Project is financed by owner's capital and a loan from ABI Bank; all finance is in place for commencement and completion of the project. The twenty, one bed-room apartments are to be sold as condominium units each having title; these units will then be pooled and managed as a hotel. This system provides for a return on the investment to the unit owner as well as revenue for the management and upkeep of the facility, ensuring maximum appreciation and future value.

The Principles behind this project have a combined forty-five years of experience in the hotel and restaurant industry in Antigua.

The mission is to develop a boutique hotel which charms the senses, creating an enchanting guest experience whether here for work or vacation.

South Point will be the second new hotel to be built in the English / Falmouth Harbour area in recent years. Located adjacent to the Antigua Yacht Club, this property will comprise a design boutique hotel with 20 room, swimming pool, restaurant, bar and lobby lounge. The restaurant and lobby lounge will form the hub of the facility providing a social meeting point as well as the operational nucleus of the facility.

The hotel structures will be designed using a fusion of Caribbean & Asian style and materials with the main buildings of concrete block. Each unitl will be approximately 900 sq. ft. (90 sq. m.), 200 sq. ft. (20 sq. m.) of which will be covered deck. The furniture and room accessories will be imported from Europe and Asia. All rooms will be air-conditioned, and feature telelphone, flat screen TV, high speed internet connection, DVD/CD player, mini-kitchen and full compliment of linen.

The facility will also include all the supporting infrastructure, sewage treatment system, back-up power generator, laundry and maintenance facilities. The whole property will be lavishly landscaped reducing the impact of the buildings on the environment and seascape.
